TOP 5 PLACES TO LEARN WEB DESIGN

I have noticed just recently that a lot of people are starting to learn or would like to learn web design, developer languages like Html, Css, Javascript, Ajax, Jquery, Php, Asp and the list just goes on!

I can remember when i was a beginner and i remember thinking "where do i start and where do i go".

Well here is my advice for all you new web designers and even experienced web designers that want to learn more languages without paying a fortune and time out of work to go to Uni!

Where should i start?

From first hand i recommend starting with Adobe Photoshop, (For the design) Html and Css before you start learning design or dynamic development! The reason for this is just about the main section of web design and if you get the main structure wrong this can ruin what good work you do everywhere else. I will mention at the end of this article the best places to actually learn Photoshop, Html and Css.

One thing i would say is master one before starting another... It doesn't take long to actually get the hang of it, and once you start learning one language you will learn the others quicker and quicker.

Once you have mastered Html and Css and the designing i would then learn Javascript and Jquery so you can make your Html more dynamic, plus this will make it so you can learn php and other server side scripts quicker!

Now you have mastered the frontend i would now go onto the server side scripting, php asp etc.

In all the process should only take around 3-6 months depending how much you put into it!
